CABLE CONTAINMENT

SUITABLE FOR:

Technicians who are responsible for electrical installations in all types of residential, industrial and commercial buildings. The course equips trainees with basic engineering skills required to competently work on all common forms of cable containment of various degrees bends and off sets.

 

COURSE DURATION:

5 days (Monday - Friday)

Monday – Friday: (8:00am – 5:00pm)

 

CLASS SIZE:

Maximum of 12 trainees per class

LEARNING OUTCOMES:

On successful completion of this course each trainee will have a comprehensive understanding of the following;

  • Health and safety
  • Types and sizes of cable tray
  • Correctly use measuring tape, spirit level and marking out equipment
  • Use drills, fasteners
  • Cut and fabricate tray to 30" off sets, 45" gusset bends, 90" bends and equal tees.

ASSESSMENTS: 

Both theory and practical competency is examined. 
 

CERTIFICATION:

On successful completion of this course, an Etiwa Certificate of Achievement is given.
