ETIWA & LASTVEB SIGN MOU DURING IRISH TRADE MISSION TO NIGERIA01/12/15
On Tuesday, 1st December 2015 ETIWA signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Lagos State Technical and Vocational Education Board (LASTVEB), represented by Executive Secretary, Engr. Olawumi Gasper. This partnership between Lagos State and ETIWA was forged to assist in the training and upskilling of graduates and teachers of the five (5) technical vocational schools within Lagos State.
Also present at the signing fo the MOU and committed to working in partnership with ETIWA was the Industrial Training Fund (ITF), Director, Research and Curriculum Development, Mrs. Folusho Samuel, Lekki Area Manager, Mrs. Gloria Abeki and Head of Training (Lekki) Mrs. Ifeyinwa Osagie.
The MOU was signed during an Irish Trade Mission event held at the Four Points Hotel, Oniru, V.I. The Irish Minister for Food, Agriculture, the Marine and Defence, Mr. Simon Coveney T.D., presided over the signing of the MOU along with the Ambassador of Ireland to Nigeria, Mr. Sean Hoy and CEO of Enterprise Ireland, Mrs. Julie Sinnamon. ETIWA's Irish technical training partners, Chevron Training Ltd. was also represented by Training Manager, Mr. Dave Collins.
